Admission requirements

  • Above-average bachelor degree with 210 ECTS (with 180 ECTS an additional module is required)
  • Contract of employment
  • English proof (at least Level B2) 
  • Successful completion of an entrance examination in the form of a selection interview

The part-time master's programme teaches broad pharmaceutical fundamentals as well as functional topics in the pharmaceutical and biotech industry.

Structure and content

Structurally, the study programme is divided into four sections:

  • The first semester provides a basic grounding and in-depth study of the procedural, regulatory, and scientific features/characteristics of the biopharmaceutical industry.
  • In the second semester, students specialise in the areas of "Quality Control", "Pharmaceutical Development" and "Pharmaceutical Production".
  • The third semester guarantees future-orientated training in the various areas of pharmaceutical sciences.
  • The fourth semester includes a preparatory module for the master's thesis.
