HOCHSCHULE REUTLINGEN

Chemistry & Sustainable Processes (CNB) - BSc

Study future topics in the natural sciences

Acquire all the basics you need to design chemical processes in an economically, ecologically and socially sustainable way and thus contribute to greater sustainability in product development.

  • Practically-oriented
Scientific work and handling of chemicals, materials, and analytical equipment in practice-orientated laboratories

  • Sustainable
Focus on reducing negative environmental impacts, efficient resource utilisation and renewable energies

  • Future-oriented
Fit to develop innovative materials and processes

Further advantages

  • You start with the basics of chemistry and materials science through to sustainable chemistry and processes as the perfect basis for the specialisations in the main degree course. Here, you will focus on sustainable product development or quality management.
  • The content of the lectures is applied directly in practice.
  • You will not only learn about chemical, process engineering and analytical principles in theory, but also carry out your own experiments in state-of-the-art laboratories.
  • You will deal with future oriented scientific issues and develop innovative materials and processes, for example for medical technology or the automotive industry.
  • Internationality is a top priority: You can organise the internship semester as an international semester. The bachelor's thesis can also be completed in industry or in research institutions in Germany or abroad.
  • With a Bachelor of Science degree after seven successful semesters, you will have optimal career opportunities in a wide range of fields. The master's programmes at colleges and universities are also open to you.

We look forward to your application!

Application deadlines: 31 August or 28/29 February
